First fun fact about Kylian Mbappé is that he is one of the fastest football players in the world.

Mbappé reached 23.6 mph (38 km/h) while playing for his club Paris Saint-Germain. This was 0.25 mph faster than Usain Bolt’s average speed when he won the 100m world record in 2009.

Mbappé moved to Paris, where he lives in an apartment with an area of 600 square meters and has a view of the Eiffel Tower. People have called it “luxurious.” It has two floors, a big terrace, and a Jacuzzi.

4. He is history’s second teenager to score in a World Cup final

Mbappé was only 19 years old when he scored in the 2018 World Cup final. He was the first teenager to do so in a long time. In 1958, Brazilian legend Pelé was the last and only other teenager to achieve the same feat.

France went on to beat Sweden 5-2. This year, France beat Croatia 4–2 with a goal from Mbappé. Pelé even sent the French star a tweet congratulating him, saying, “Only the second teenager to score a goal in a #WorldCupFinal! Welcome to the club, @KMbappe! It’s nice to have some company!”

Kylian Mbappé’s younger brother Ethan also plays in the under-12 league for Paris Saint-Germain.

11. Messi keeps watching him

Mbappe said that Messi felt pressure when winning the European Golden Shoe for the 2018-2019 season because Mbappe was closing the goal gap. Messi had 36 league goals, which is a lot, but the youngster was only 3 goals behind the legend’s record!

During an interview in 2019, Mbappe learned that Messi was worried the whole time that Mbappe would catch him. Mbappe actually told Dembele, who is also on the French national team, how “crazy” it was that Messi was “surveilling” him during the league.
