1. Rue de l’Abreuvoir

18e arrondissement

Rue de l'Abreuvoir

You can see the top of the famed Sacre-Coeur church from this lovely street in Montmartre, Paris’s highest hill.

This gently winding street, lined with wisteria in the spring and toboggans in the winter, epitomizes Montmartre’s retro charm without the crowds.

A must-visit is the quaint La Maison Rose for a drink in memory of the legendary footsteps you’ve just walked in – particularly those of Picasso, Renoir, and Degas.

In the Netflix seriesEmily in Paris,” Mindy refers to Rue de l’Abreuvoir as the prettiest street in Paris, and “the road that leads nowhere.” This is also where Emily put up the social media display for Hästens beds near the Dalida bust.

2. Rue Des Barres

4th arrondissement

Rue des Barres - Paris

Rue Des Barres, located in the Marais, is relatively modest and strategically placed in Paris (it is only 1 minute from Notre Dame).

Still, a stroll here will transport you away from the metropolis in a split second. Walking down this street gives the impression of visiting a little community in the southern French countryside.

After exploring this street, relax with your favorite drink in one of the many café terraces.  From your seat, you may take in the sights and sounds of a 1300s church directly across the street.

3. Avenue de Camoens

16e arrondissement

Avenue Camoëns _Paris

This is one of Paris’s more compact streets, and it features a stunning vista of the Eiffel Tower in the background.

The Avenue de Camoens then meanders into a stairway that descends a steep incline to a road farther down the hill.

If you want to take unique photos of the Eiffel Tower, the Avenue de Camoens is a superb location, especially at sunrise or sunset.

Even if you are unable to visit during these specific hours of the day, this is still one of the cutest streets in Paris to explore for its unique views of the Eiffel Tower.

4. Rue Chanoinesse

4th arrondissement

Rue Chanoinesse Paris

Rue Chanoinesse conceals as many secrets and pieces of history as the road itself is as ancient as the legend that surrounds it.

This street is home to one of the best cafés in Paris. Near Notre Dame, Rue Chanoinesse also features a courtyard tiled with reclaimed gravestones.

While strolling along this medieval road, keep an eye out for the address where Heloise and Abelard are alleged to have had an unlawful romance in the 12th century.

5. Rue Crémieux

12th arrondissement

Rue Crémieux,_Paris

Consider walking a few extra paces to the bustling Rue Crémieux if you’re traveling to or from the Gare de Lyon.

Brightly colored facades ornamented with picture-perfect bicycles, potted plants, and scaling ivy provide a welcome respite from the clamor of passing trains in the nearby neighborhood.

Make a stay at Hotel Corail a part of your everyday Paris routine and you’ll be able to walk down this enchanting road.

6. Rue Galande

5e arrondissement

Rue_Galande Paris

Are you on the lookout for a postcard-perfect Parisian street? If you’re searching for a stroll down a typical European avenue, make your way to Rue Galande.

Rue Galande is located near the famed Notre Dame; indeed, portions of the cathedral are visible from across the river. Our favorite view of Rue Galande is of the Odette pastry bakery.

This establishment and the structure that surrounds it are tucked into a corner on Rue Galande. If you visit Odette, plan to stay a little longer to explore one of Paris’ most gorgeous avenues!

7. Avenue Montaigne

8th arrondissement

Avenue_Montaigne Paris

Boulevard Montaigne is certainly the cutest street in Paris for those who have a few thousand euros to spend or even for the ones who prefer window shopping.

It is located in the “Golden Triangle” of Paris, which is a popular tourist destination. After Christian Dior opened his shop here, Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, and many others followed suit!

This charming street is also known as the most expensive in Paris, though you don’t have to spend a single cent to walk this way.

8. Square de Montsouris

14th arrondissement

Square de Montsouris

The name of this beautiful Parisian street can be deceiving. More than just a cute Parisian street, the Parc de Montsouris, one of the city’s most beautiful parks, is just a few blocks away from this ‘square’.

The cobbled alleys of Square de Montsouris are fantastic places to wander in case you want to get away from crowded areas of the city. Make sure to visit the adjacent Parc Montsouris, a cool green space perfect for relaxing.

9. Rue de Rivoli

1st to 4th arrondissement

Rue de Rivoli Paris

This is one of Paris’ most popular streets. The Battle of Rivoli, Napoleon’s triumph over Austria in 1797, was the inspiration for its name. The 3,070-meter-long street is a visual treat for the eyes. In addition to being a nice place to go for a walk, it’s also a great place to work out.

The Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens, and the Place de la Concorde are all within a few blocks of one another on Rue de Rivoli, making it a terrific way to see a lot of Paris in a short time.

10. Rue Saint-Vincent

18e arrondissement

Rue Saint Vincent Paris

Rue Saint-Vincent is a cobblestoned Parisian street surrounded by an ivy wall in Montmartre, north of Paris.

On one section of the street, the ivy hangs down and covers numerous lampposts. Several lampposts are obscured by ivy on one portion of the street.

During the summer months, the ivy is a beautiful green, but in the fall, it comes alive in a variety of vibrant colors.

If you keep walking along Rue Saint-Vincent, you will come to Paris’ oldest vineyard just beside the road. While small, it is a charming little gem buried away along one of Paris’s cutest streets.

11. Rue de Sévigné

3e / 4e arrondissement

Rue de Sévigné Paris

Rue de Sévigné is one of Paris’s most beautiful streets, located in the heart of Le Marais. This cute street faces a church commissioned by Cardinal Richelieu of the Three Musketeers (Église Saint-Louis-Saint-Paul).

Visit Rue de Sévigné for a quiet stroll among historic Parisian architecture. The boulevard bears no resemblance to the Haussmannian architecture that dominated nineteenth-century Paris.

You’ll come across little roads, hidden gems, ancient hôtels (former mansion houses), and even a timber-framed house or two as you wander.
