In January of 2007, Baptiste Giabiconi was discovered by a talent scout while he was playing basketball at a Marseille club. In the same year, Karl Lagerfeld selected Giabicioni to represent Chanel for men. Starting in 2010, he was the face of Schwarzkopf goods and appeared in its ad campaigns.
He and Karl Lagerfeld both starred in advertising for Volkswagen, a German automaker, in 2011. He also modeled for the Karl Lagerfeld line of fragrances, timepieces, and eyewear.
